I have been gone so long that I didn't realize that blogpatrol had stopped working. If you are out there and reading, what site do you use to keep track of visitors to your blog?

A couple of weeks ago, it seemed like we had gotten a lot of snow. We had at least 4 feet in some places and it was way too cold to play in (less than 0 degrees F most days).

And this was taken yesterday when the bank had gotten over 6 feet tall. His back is to the snow and it goes straight up, not back behind him. The tree is less than 2 feet behind him.

What's a girl to do when snowed in with subzero temperatures? Knit, of course!

That red knit thing on my son's head is something that I having playing around with. It is a simple K2P2 design knit in the round using a magic loop technique. He loves his red hat and I am looking forward to my next knitting project. If only the yarn I ordered would get here so that I could start some socks.

When we last met, I was welcoming home my soldier from a year long deployment to Iraq. Our family went into togetherness mode and much of my deployment life (to include the blog) fell to the background. There was a lot happening, but I just didn't take the time to get it all jotted down. I may just have to do a catch-up post. Or not. We will see.

For now, I am just happy to get something onto the page. If you are still out there and still reading, let me know. If not, that is okay. I will just babble here to myself and record all of the random thoughts that pop into my head from time to time.
